This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") establishes rules for acceptable use of Nexus School ERP.
1. Permitted Use
The Platform may be used for legitimate educational and administrative purposes, including:
- Student management
- Academic management
- Attendance
- Examination
- Fees
- Communication
- Staff management
- Transport
- Library
- Hostel
- Reporting
- School administration
2. Prohibited Activities
Users must not use the Platform to:
- Commit illegal activities.
- Attempt unauthorized access.
- Steal credentials.
- Circumvent security controls.
- Upload malware.
- Conduct cyberattacks.
- Perform unauthorized penetration testing.
- Scrape or harvest information without authorization.
- Abuse APIs.
- Overload systems.
- Disrupt Platform availability.
- Impersonate others.
- Upload fraudulent information.
- Violate privacy rights.
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Distribute unlawful or harmful material.
- Conduct harassment or abuse.
- Attempt unauthorized payment manipulation.
- Manipulate examination or academic records without authorization.
- Access student information without legitimate authorization.
3. Student and Child Safety
Users must not use Nexus School ERP to:
- Exploit children.
- Harass students.
- Contact students for unauthorized purposes.
- Distribute inappropriate material to minors.
- Misuse student information.
- Circumvent school safeguarding procedures.
4. Credentials
Users must not:
- Share passwords.
- Use another person's account.
- Sell accounts.
- Attempt credential theft.
- Circumvent multi-factor authentication.
5. Data Misuse
Users must not:
- Download unnecessary student information.
- Export information for unauthorized purposes.
- Sell school data.
- Share confidential school information.
- Use student information for unrelated purposes.
6. API and Integration Use
API access must be used according to authorized limits.
Users must not:
- Abuse API endpoints.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits.
- Extract data outside authorized scope.
- Reverse engineer protected APIs.
- Use automated systems to attack the Platform.
7. Security Testing
Security testing requires prior written authorization from Nexus ERP.
Unauthorized penetration testing or vulnerability scanning is prohibited.
8. Reporting Abuse
Suspected security or abuse incidents should be reported to:

9. Enforcement
Nexus ERP may:
- Investigate violations.
- Restrict access.
- Suspend accounts.
- Terminate accounts.
- Block malicious traffic.
- Preserve relevant logs.
- Take legal action where appropriate.
10. Changes
This AUP may be updated as the Platform and security requirements evolve.
